Bacon Shrimp Wrap Recipe

1 lb shrimp
1 1/2 small onion
3/4 cup olive oil
3/4 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
3/8 tsp salt
3/8 tsp oregano
2 T "The Best Barbeque Sauce You'll Ever Taste"
3/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 lb bacon

Place shrimp in plastic bag; set in bowl. Combine 1/2 cup olive oil, chopped onion, sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, oregano, barbeque sauce and garlic powder. Pour mixture over shrimp; close bag.

Marinate shrimp 3 hrs in refrigerator, turning occasionally. Cut bacon slices into halves crosswise. In large skillet, half cook bacon. Drain on paper toweling. Drain shrimp; reserve mixture. Wrap bacon strips around shrimp and secure with wooden picks.

Place shrimp in wire grill basket or on piece of heavy duty foil and puncture in several places. Bar-B-Que uncovered for 6 minutes till bacon and shrimp are done. Baste often with marinade.
